In warm weather, the Sky Cub provided a fine atmosphere for dancing in the pre-air-conditioned era. Featuring the Continent's Top Orchestras and Star Personalities.\",The Sky Club open-air dance terrace was built out over Lake Ontario after 1927, while the Brant Inn was owned by A. B. Coleman. The dance concession was managed by Murray Anderson, who had seen a similar design while visiting Cuba. The patrons' tables at first accommodated 1,000 people; in 1937 it was enlarged to seat 1,700. The bandshell, originally on the lake side of the terrace, was battered by a severe storm in the early 1940s and was replaced by the bandstand seen in this view.
