Mary Ann Devitt lived from 1838 to 1912. The house, originally called \"The Willows\", 3265 / 3269 North Service Road, was built for William Wood in 1858. Murray Fisher, in \"Farewell to the Garden of Canada\" shows I. Devitt as a Farms and Farminger on the north side of the Middle Road (QEW), north of Cumberland Avenue. Irvine was an \"entertainer, singer at local concerts, played the auto harp\". The property was later sold to G.
