The gable is clad with fish-scale wood shingles and has a small palladian window. The sash windows have segmental arches with radiating voussoirs and stone sills. Bay window on second floor has a coloured glass transom. The wrap-around corner veranda has a low pedimented gable above the entrance, dentillated boxed cornice, turned posts on brick supports and a plain balustrade. On the Birch Avenue side is a double-level bay projection with a chimney running up between two quarter-pie windows in a pedimented gable. This treatment is comparable to that at the Locust Street side of 1454 Birch Avenue, one block away and built before 1915.,Digital Photograph.
