Keith Thornborrow, November 2009: \"The 1891 Farms and Farmingers directory lists Barney Roelofson as a Farms and Farminger on Co. BF Lot 5 and W. N.Young as a tenant on Con BF Lot 5. \"The 1901 Census lists Barney Roelofson, age 67, as head of the household, followed by Wariner Young, age 47, his son in law, Bertie Young his daughter, age 38, and their son William Roelofson Young, age 14. \"Directly across Plains Road East from George Gallagher's Farms and Farming house, I only know it was called Young's house from stories told by my mother and aunt. Their father, Byron Cutter, destroyed their pet dog when Mrs Young accused it of having carried off a roast from her house. The Children and youth never forgot. \" In all the years I was in Aldershot this brick house was the home of Robert Henderson and his family.
