Plan 81, the Gray Survey, was registered in 1887. In that year, Lot 1 and other lots, Block A, were sold to William Kerns; in 1909 to Virgil Ross Hart; in 1912 to Robert Palmer. Outside the boundaries of the 1910 and 1924 fire insurance maps. 1919 Sewerage Works Plan: house shown, but owner not named (outside the city boundary). This part lot was sold in 1921 to John Mansfield. Not found in the 1927 Voters List. The undated Burlington Directory (1927?) has J. Mansfield as a laborer, 32 Martha Street. The 1932 Burlington Directory has his address as 32 Martha Street (owner). Sold in 1922 to Albert Olson: not found in directories etc. Sold in 1948 by Margaret Olson, widow, to Helena Fell (Pell?), married woman; in the same year to Agnes Wilson, married woman; in 1949 to John and Matilda Fifer (Piper?); in 1956 to Frank and Constance Turner; in 1957 to Sydney and Audrey Boden; in 1968 by Audrey Boden, widow, to Ernest Lawson; in 1975 to John and Catherine McKillop; in 1977 to Robert and Elaine Rusk; in 1979 to Hal and Christine Walker; in 1982 to Reid Hosie, who in 1985 purchased 2185 Caroline; in 1985 to Anna Borysenko; in 1986 to John and Jacqueline Cliffe; in 1991 to Barry Guest; in 1994 to John Alan Nicholson ... ARCHITECTURE: One and a half storey vernacular building with a gable roof broken by a hip roofed dormer. A shed roofed enclosed veranda with wood sash windows is off-centre to the building. ENVIRONMENT: USABILITY: INTEGRITY: The building has been reclad with stucco(?) and aluminum siding. Aluminum storm windows and doors were added.
