The Ontario Historical Society awarded its 1977 Award of Excellence to the BHS in recognition of its work in saving the house. Records of the campaign were collected in \"The Burlington Historical Society / The Van Norman - Breckon House / The Fight for its Preservation / 1973 - 1982\", which includes this card.
