ARCHITECURE: A two-and-a-half storey hipped-roof Ontario Vernacular brick building with rubblestone foundation. Windows have radiating brick voussoirs and stone sills. Shed-roofed veranda has plain boxed cornice and frieze supported by squared posts. ENVIRONMENT: Field-stone front and side parking. USABILITY: INTEGRITY: Replacement posts for verandah; no railing. Replacement shutters. Aluminum storm windows and doors. Recent renovations include restored lattice-work under the verandah floor. Front gable dormer with modern casement windows and wood shiplap siding. A one-storey rear addition clad with green aluminum siding on a concrete block foundation. In 1993 a second-level deck was added: turned post railing and a door replacing a window. A large gable-dormer window at the rear.
