I see this as a reorientation of the self-concious - steeped in an appeal to the phenomenal. Because it is phenomenal that I now stand here, in this place, I as the next generation of what, where and why we progress with(in). This line of process made me feel small. Not in a ferocious self-sabotage way, but because this creative act forced me to embrace vulnerability. Vulnerable to change in material, scale and a general perception of things taken and others discarded. That our minds are capable, especially at a younger age, to remove what you need and then discard or turn away from the rest. I felt it was important to hit. And as a potter, as a human this is how and where new ideas form.
