He studied at the Museum Art School, now the Pacific Northwest College of Art, becoming a printmaker (woodcuts) and sculptor. Izquierdo’s detailed prints sometimes include images of his fantastical escape from Spain, while his sculptures represent his abiding interest in biomorphic forms and the nature of metamorphosis.
