Art professor, Emil Jacques, painted angels on the wall behind the main altar in early 1928. He designed them \"in an attitude of adoration bowing gracefully, a gesture that gives sweep to the draperies of the extended right arms which swing censers from which drift toward the tabernacle thin wisps of opalescent smoke….
