Corish is an artist in oil, specializing in marine painting. He graduated from Harvard and Boston University, where he studied art. At Harvard University Corish studied under Emile Gruppe. He has received award from Harvard University of Adjunct in Art Degree (1938), served as the Art Director for the Castle Hill foundation (1958-62), won first prize at the Portsmouth Art Association (1960), the Winchester Art Association (1957), and the Twentieth Century Exhibition (1954).
