It seems to have been used for meetings, too, such as the one of the Holy Name Society held \"in the West Hall recreation room\" on October 25, 1924, as described in the same Columbiad (p.57): \"The meeting was opened with a prayer by the chaplain, Father Edgar Misch…. Jerry Ransavage, president, spoke briefly on the aims and progress of the society. Professor Regan delighted his audience with a number of violin selections…. Most of the vocal music of the evening was furnished by the West Hall songsters who were especially trained for the occasion by Prof. Rosenbluth. Voiss recited some funny pieces of verse.  Father Reynolds told some true ghost stories….
