It was created in modernistic design, blue and white, to harmonize with the architecture. The corpus is made of off-white magnesite and placed on a medium blue cross. Miss Genevieve Willson, who sculptured the crucifix especially for the place where it hangs, is a budding young sculptor and teacher at Mt. Angel college. (The Beacon.
