The cyclohexyl group is pseudo-equatorial and trans to the axial hydroxyl; the dihydropyran ring is a half-chair distorted towards the d,e-diplanar conformation. Hydrogen bonding between the coumarin carbonyl and the hydroxyl groups at an O···O distance of 2·834 (4) Å is found.
