The former worship area is a lounge with adjacent offices for the University Ministry staff… To the east through wide portals, one enters the narthex of the new chapel… Located conveniently around this narthex area is the eucharistic chapel or reservation, the reconciliation chapel, a meditation room for all faiths, and the sacristy. One is drawn through this welcoming area in to the chapel proper, and immediately is enveloped in a soft light reflected off the surroundings walls of cedar. The source of the light is from clerestory windows in the towers which mark four sides of the hexagonal design.
