The Chapel of Christ the Teacher, designed by world-renowned architect, Pietro Belluschi, was built with oversize bricks and roofed in tile. Four oaken columns were carved by LeRoi Setzoil in motifs suggesting the four gospels. Solid black walnut was used to carve posts, lintels, and doors for the main entry. A total immersion baptismal font in the shape of a cross lies in the entryway of the new Chapel.
