Stately in its simplicity, it contained approximately 45,000 square feet of classrooms, offices and laboratories. Much of the equipment was purchased from war surplus sales, donated by individuals and industries, or built by Br. Godfrey Vassallo, CSC, and other faculty in order to keep expenses at a minimum.  The goal was to keep costs under $500,000. The final tally was $453,000.
