Hunt and the dedication of the Mago Hunt Center for Performing Arts. The new center was generously funded by William H. Hunt and lovingly named for his wife, Mago Hunt. With Mr. Hunt's support, the University completed its first ever building on campus designed specifically for theatrical productions following the April 1969 fire which destroyed Education and Music Halls. Designed by Architects Boles, Maguire and Hoch, the performing arts center has separate facilities for dramatic and musical performances, practice rooms, recording studio, set design and construction room, costume design laboratory, and offices for faculty.
