Originally called \"Shuttlecock,\" then \"Shark's Game,\" then finally \"Sharpies,\" the film was ultimately released as \"Mister Deathman.\" The film was the personal project of African-American stuntman and actor David Broadnax, who had appeared in \"Superfly,\" \"Cotton Comes to Harlem,\" among other films.
