At one Malibu Play days Horse Show, we set up booths for us to play different events. My father, Asa Smith, is manning the 'bottle and ball' booth. You can see his white hat facing the crowds. I am just below him with my dark cowboy hat with strings around it. I also had a checkered western shirt. This was part of a four-day event with the horse show being its highlight. The booths and arena were at Crummer Field at the west end of the city's civic offices next to the hill where the apartments are on top.
