In 1937, the building was purchased by W. L. Gunn, moved to its current location on the Pacific Coast Highway in the La Costa area of eastern Malibu, and renovated. During World War II, the building served as a center for the armed forces. In this 1947 photograph, we can see several of the businesses housed in Malibu Plaza, which was also home to the Malibu post office and the Malibu Times newspaper."},{"label":"Note","value":"Part of the Lani Netter photo album donation.
