The Malibu Civic Center was built later in the background of this photo. In 1958, Ronald Reagan was the Grand Marshal of the 'Play Days' Gymkhana. The Malibu Riders Club was founded by Percy Meek, who also founded the Trancas Riders and Ropers later.
