The New Hazard was captianed by David Nye and the log was kept by Stephen Reynolds. It is a daily log that describes wind, weather, location, provisions, floggings on board, sightings of birds and fish, dealings with the native people, and illness on board. It mentions hearing of the American frigate Constitution being taken by the English, and includes a crew list.
