State Archives of North Carolina"},{"label":"Language","value":["English"]},{"label":"Description","value":"These papers, contained in two boxes, consist of correspondence, speeches, news releases, campaign buttons, campaign ephemera, photographs, and relate almost exclusively to Moore's 1963-1964 gubernatorial campaign. The material provides an insight into the development of the campaign from the viewpoint of the publicist/speech writer.    Additionally, there are two folders of materials from the years in which Johnson was on the staff of the governor's office (1958-1963). One folder contains speeches (and correspondence relating to them) composed by Johnson for Lt. Gov. H. Cloyd Philpott during 1960 and 1961. The second folder contains a tape recording of an interview with Governor Luther H.
