They consist of one patent; 12 deeds, 1759-1825; three miscellaneous land papers; one slave bill of sale, -one personal account, and one last will and testament.     The patents and deeds in this collection concern the acquisition of Ivey family land on Bogue Marsh, Walnut Creek, and Neuse River in south�eastern Wayne County near the town of Seven Springs and the Cliffs of the Neuse, as well as land on Panther Creek in western Lenoir County. Included, also, are a 1793 slave-bill of sale, a 1790 personal account of goods pur�chased by John Ivey from Whitfield and Son, the 1832 last will and testament of Richard Ivey of Wayne County, a 1794 bond to make- a deed, and two undated sets of notes for a land survey and for a land division."},{"label":"Digital Characteristics","value":"1 page"},{"label":"Format","value":["Finding aids"]},{"label":"Rights","value":"The SA of NC considers this item in the public domain by U.S. law but responsibility for permissions rests with researchers."},{"label":"Source Collections","value":["Ivey Family Papers .
