It is a four piece set, consisting of the carafe left of center, and a hollow stopper to the right of it.  If one looks closely at the stopper you will note that it has its own stopper, piece # 3, and then the tumbler is behind the stopper.  When assembled, the hollow  stopper, with its own stopper, goes in the carafe; and the tumbler is inverted on top of the carafe, where it fits nicely.  The hollow stopper was used for medicine or alcoholic spirits, hence the nickname eye opener set"},{"label":"Place","value":["Highlands, Macon County, North Carolina, United States"]},{"label":"Subject","value":["Museums--North Carolina"]},{"label":"Time Period","value":["(1990-current) Contemporary"]},{"label":"Abstract","value":"For the North Carolina Exploring Cultural Heritage Online (NC ECHO) project, 1999-2007, photos were taken of archives, historic houses, museums, libraries and more."},{"label":"Table of Contents","value":"One or more additional photo(s) for this site visit, with filenames beginning ncecho_022, may be viewed at our library."},{"label":"Format","value":["Photographs"]},{"label":"Type","value":["Image"]},{"label":"Identifier","value":"ncecho_022017"}],"description":"Museum of American Cut and Engraved Glass","sequences":[{"@type":"sc:Sequence","canvases":[{"@id":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/ncdcr/iiif/e1078d70-5778-496d-908b-84e21f768085/canvas/_1","@type":"sc:Canvas","label":"Museum of American Cut and Engraved Glass","height":960,"width":1280,"images":[{"@type":"oa:Annotation","motivation":"sc:painting","resource":{"@id":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/ncdcr/iiif/e1078d70-5778-496d-908b-84e21f768085/full/full/0/default.jpg","@type":"dctypes:Image","format":"image/jp2","service":{"@context":"http://iiif.io/api/image/2/context.json","@id":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/ncdcr/iiif/e1078d70-5778-496d-908b-84e21f768085","profile":"http://iiif.io/api/image/2/level2.json","tiles":[{"width":512,"scaleFactors":[1,2,4]}]},"height":960,"width":1280},"on":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/ncdcr/iiif/e1078d70-5778-496d-908b-84e21f768085/canvas/_1","metadata":[]}],"thumbnail":{"@id":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/ncdcr/iiif/e1078d70-5778-496d-908b-84e21f768085/full/500,500/0/default.jpg","@type":"dctypes:Image","height":500,"width":500}}]}],"thumbnail":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/ncdcr/iiif/e1078d70-5778-496d-908b-84e21f768085/full/500,500/0/default.jpg","logo":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/ncdcr/iiif/logo"}
