The Division of Negro Education in the Department of Public Instruction within the State of North Carolina forwarded the recommendations from the ACSSN to the SACSS as the approved intermediary between the organizations. The focus of the correspondence primarily entails the arrangement of the ACSSN Visiting Committee inspecting a selection of secondary schools throughout North Carolina who wish to receive recognition by the Southern regional accreditor.
