His brother William was newspaper editor, teacher, farmer, and Methodist preacher in Georgia (to 1869) and Alabama, and wrote (1859-1890) about his activities, service with 1st Regiment of Georgia State Troops, opportunities in Georgia and Alabama, and Franklin Co. politics (1868). Also letters from North Carolinians in Tennessee and Arkansas (1868,1874); review of weather (Randolph Co.,1856); subscriptions for building Maple Springs Church (1858) and Daniel Wester's house (1862) in Franklin Co.; and business papers letters about T. C. Wester's farm (1870-1879). Printed material includes an issue of W. V. Wester's Georgia newpaper the Democratic Platform (Nov. 10, 1859), minutes of the Annual Tar River Association (Baptist, 1887), and printed items from Warrenton Female Seminary, the Masons, and Farmers' State Alliance."},{"label":"Digital Characteristics","value":"1 page"},{"label":"Format","value":["Finding aids"]},{"label":"Rights","value":"The SA of NC considers this item in the public domain by U.S. law but responsibility for permissions rests with researchers."},{"label":"Source Collections","value":["Thomas C.
