They include 18 deeds, 1826-1878; two miscellaneous land papers, undated, and one report of a widow's allowance for a year's provisions.    The deeds in this collection concern the acquisition of the land on Loosing Swamp, Wheat Swamp, and the south side of Contentnea Creek in northern Lenoir County, beloing to the families of Matthew and Tully Moseley. The 1897 report of the commissioners to set aside a year's allowance for the widow of W. T.
