Mike Easley today urged citizens to keep a close watch on Hurricane Jeanne during the next few days and to be prepared as the storm approaches North Carolina early next week. In addition, the N.C. State Emergency Response Team (SERT), led by N.C. Emergency Management, has begun making initial preparations as Hurricane Jeanne heads toward the U.S. coast.
