Hinnant III discusses the relationship between math and art and describes working with different art mediums. Hinnant III recalls his different exhibitions at various institutions. Hinnant III briefly discusses his relationship to other Hinnants. This interview was conducted by B. Bernetiae Reed on September 29, 2023, for the South Benbow Road National Register of Historic Places Nomination and in collaboration with the City of Greensboro Historic Planning Office. South Benbow Road is a historically Black neighborhood in Greensboro, North Carolina and this project helps preserve the neighborhood and city’s history through the voices of its residents. The Oral History collection contains interviews conducted and acquired by the Oral History Unit of the State Archives of North Carolina.
