There are also accounts due from patients (1841-1863); accounts concerning Williams, Haywood, & Company (1847-1855); articles of copartnership with John R. Harrison for tannery in Raleigh (1856) and settlement of their accounts (1867); and accounts of expenses and income for Thomas B. Haywood in asylum (1868). Deeds for real and personal property (1830-1874) involve the Haywood family, Allen Rogers family, Cyrus and Joseph A. Whitaker, Daniel G. Fowle, Seaton Gales, and Sarah Caroline Manly. Correspondence concerning property includes letters from Freedmen's Bureau about a house taken over by the federal government (1866-1868). Also his federal pardon and physician's licenses (1866) and title to church pew (1861). A number of business papers and letters of Col.
