The First photograph is a cabinet card image of Carolina Lambert Wheaton, mother-in-law of Mabel Wolfe Wheaton, a sister of Thomas Wolfe.  The other image is a color photograph of \"Lady Bird\" Johnson touring the Wolfe House in Asheville on March 13, 1967.  Pictured with the first lady are Jennelle Moore (Mrs. Dan K.) and Fred Wolfe (brother of Thomas).  The photograph is signed by Mrs. Johnson and includes the inscription \"To Fred Wolfe - on a most interesting visit - with appreciation, Lady Bird Johnson.\"  The photo was in the house and sustained some water during the building fire of 1998.
