Also letters describing his wounding, capture, and death at the Battle of Cedar Creek (1864); recollections of Ramseur and of Cedar Creek, Chancellorsville, and Gettysburg by Frederick Phillips, David Schenck, Thomas R. Roulhac, and other officers(1884-1891); and speeches on Ramseur by Gen. William R. Cox (1891), Maj. Charles M. Stedman (1920) and Col. Henry A. Dupont (1920).
