Papers of children and grandchildren of Bridgers include letters (1886, n.d.) from P. L. Bridgers, U.S. consul in Montevideo, Uruguay, about business affairs and difficulties of his consulship; and papers of Ann Preston Bridgers relating to service as YWCA hostess with the AEF in France (1919), including letters, reminiscences, diary, and photographs. Also published copy of the play Coquette, coauthored by Ann with George Abbott and first produced in 1927. Other WWI material includes military papers (1917-1919) of Robert R.
