Note on the back of the photograph identifies Virgil (John Virgil \"Danny\") Deaver as being the one driving the tractor. When the college purchased land nearby to the Blue Ridge campus, the work program was expanded to include the construction of college buildings and the maintenance of an inn and farm on the Lake Eden property.
