Part of the Lost Colony play was performed at the Metropolitan Opera House as part of the New York Journal-American's 14th Oratory Finals. This collection of photographic negatives and prints is made up of photographs taken by Charles Brantley \"Aycock\" Brown (1904-1984) as a resident and journalist on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. The photographs in this collection are arranged by year and original grouping by the photographer.
