Also letter (1825) from Moore to his father in Tennessee about cotton planting, the Warren family, and the Methodist church at Soapstone (Wake Co.); and minutes of the Soapstone Temperance Society (1835). Miscellaneous papers (1871-1927) of son Durant K. Moore, his widow, and their son-in-law, T. B. Crowder, Raleigh merchant and banker, include minutes of Mt. Pleasant Grange (Wake Co., 1874-1876), Raleigh bills and receipts, Carolina Electrical Company stock certificate (1911), deeds, and letters on Crowder's death in 1918.
