The family is well. On the secong page, John Morgan (Sarepta's mother was a Morgan so he is probably a cousin) writes that he is coming to Daniel's company. Sarepta apparently couldn't read or write. This and the following letter were written for her by her cousin, John E. Morgan, who served with Daniel in Co.
