Letters (1801, 1805) from John Haywood in Raleigh also relate to land sales. Letters (1780) from Michael Levy in Edenton and New Bern concern trade and news of British in Virginia. Other items include list of slave births and deaths (1781-1810); census list (1800) of Walker's family, including slaves; memorandum of agreement (n.d.) for sale of ferry at Wilmington; a paper (1799) on the duties of a \"naval officer\" (customs official).
