The central focus is on the buffalo dancers with deer dancers in the foreground who are flanked by two child eagle dancers. On both sides of the buffalo dancers are ram dancers and a few deer dancers. On the left, Jemez onlookers observe the dance, while on the right, drummers and singers are depicted. In the background, adobe homes, some with onlookers seated on the roofs are drawn, more eagle dancers, and mountains are visible. In the forefront of the painting, there are bands of different tones of brown in circles, upon which the dancers are depicted dancing."},{"label":"Medium","value":["pencil"]},{"label":"Format","value":["Painting"]},{"label":"Title","value":"Jemez Buffalo Dancers"},{"label":"Culture","value":["Jemez"]}],"description":"Jemez Buffalo Dancers","sequences":[{"@type":"sc:Sequence","canvases":[{"@id":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/nationalcowboymuseum/iiif/66c72f27-6cbe-4c8e-8c1d-03e8867cfcb7/canvas/_1","@type":"sc:Canvas","label":"Jemez Buffalo Dancers","height":12871,"width":18764,"images":[{"@type":"oa:Annotation","motivation":"sc:painting","resource":{"@id":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/nationalcowboymuseum/iiif/66c72f27-6cbe-4c8e-8c1d-03e8867cfcb7/full/full/0/default.jpg","@type":"dctypes:Image","format":"image/jpeg","service":{"@context":"http://iiif.io/api/image/2/context.json","@id":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/nationalcowboymuseum/iiif/66c72f27-6cbe-4c8e-8c1d-03e8867cfcb7","profile":"http://iiif.io/api/image/2/level2.json","tiles":[{"width":2048,"scaleFactors":[1,2,4,8,16]}]},"height":12871,"width":18764},"on":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/nationalcowboymuseum/iiif/66c72f27-6cbe-4c8e-8c1d-03e8867cfcb7/canvas/_1","metadata":[]}],"thumbnail":{"@id":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/nationalcowboymuseum/iiif/66c72f27-6cbe-4c8e-8c1d-03e8867cfcb7/full/500,500/0/default.jpg","@type":"dctypes:Image","height":500,"width":500}}]}],"thumbnail":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/nationalcowboymuseum/iiif/66c72f27-6cbe-4c8e-8c1d-03e8867cfcb7/full/500,500/0/default.jpg","logo":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/nationalcowboymuseum/iiif/logo"}
