Says it will be impossible for Barry to remain as Administrator and that Cowper will have to fill that role in the meantime. Hopes that General Synod will proceed by forming a Committee. Says he has corresponded with Bishop Perry and other Bishops, and will draw up a list of names. Suggests Cowper can consult Bishop Barry, and suggests they would prefer a candidate of the Evangelical school of thought. Enquires about Cowper's memoir of Bishop Barker.
