Explains how she is sorting out Cowper's letters and documents, and points out that the executors would have had to do this. Says it is better for her, as some documents relate to individual clergymen. Says she has been told that she can stay at the Deanery for 3 months, and will be paid 50 pounds for her work in sorting the Dean's papers. Asks Pain's advice on how her expenses should be paid. Informs Pain that Angus & Robertson have printed a prospectus for the Dean's memoirs.
