Asks Women Ratepayers if they will pay more rates 'that vicious men may feel safer in their unlawful pleasures', and whether this 'disgraceful legislation' should be extended, reminding them they have the power to say no now that they have the right to vote in municipal elections.  Urges them to return no man to the Town Council who does not 'give a distinct pledge against these Acts and who does not promise to use all his influence to procure their total and immediate repeal'.
