This is simply untrue.' \nPoster then goes on to explain that the Acts apply to many garrison towns and 13 named seaports, and this can be verified by any Solicitor who has the reference documents cited.   States that other statements made by Mr Denison indicate 'gross ignorance' or 'wilful misrepresentation' and that the Acts advocates want to extend them to Nottingham and the whole kingdom.  Quotes the 'veteran Conservative' Right Honble (sic). JW Henley's criticism of the acts, and lists the Bishops who have protested against 'these immoral laws'. The Wesleyan Conference has also condemned them.
