In response to Mr Childers' previous reference to fair play, Mr Fothergill demands 'fair play for defenceless girls and women kidnapped from their homes, deprived of the rights of habeas corpus and magna charter, robbed of woman's dearest heritage and thrust upon the streets to lead a shameless life'.
