Frashers Foto - Pomona.\" Originally known as the Parchers Rainbow Camp, the Parchers Resort was established in 1921 by William Chandler Parcher and his wife Marie Louise, who were pioneers in the Owens Valley. W. C. Parcher had been active in the newspaper business, and he had once run the Owens Valley Herald and the Inyo Independent. Mrs. W. C. Parcher had played an important role in organizing the Eastern California Museum Association.
