Ave. Colon 754  My dear Dad:  Although we have received some letters from you and Pancho a while ago, we are now impatient  to know the results of Pancho’s operation that I suppose must have been done by now since you  told me back then that he wished to be operated on the following week. We believe this is the  case, which seemed to me to be very appropriate; I hope to God that with this [operation]  Francisco will remain good and healthy.  We are very happy that my mom has recovered from her illness and we hope that you and  Ignacio will get over your headaches. I recommend that you not worry too much about things to  see if this helps.  If your remaining teeth are good, the best thing for you to do is replace the ones that have come  out, because if not the rest will continue to fall out and right now you can still avoid this. This is  more important than what one imagines and right now it will not be very expensive compared to  what would be lost.  I am aware of the rest of the items in your letter.  We expect your prompt response and all of you receive greetings from everyone in this house  and especially from your son who asks for your blessing.
