My esteemed brother:  I send you a letter for the Solórzano Bros. asking them to accept the sewing machines [as  payment], and would you do me the favor of taking care of this matter as well as the one with the  Paulsen House. Also see if you can kindly find out the price of such items since I no longer  remember. Those gentlemen have promised not to charge interest on my debt.  Tell me if it would be prudent to collect the goods that are in Anita's house for the purpose of  making payments; and could you do me the favor of keeping them while I figure out to whom  they should be handed over, and in that way find out exactly how much there is. In case you  decide it should be so, then I can write you a letter asking you to collect the merchandise and a  list of whatever is owed with the objective of knowing how much I can count on to pay off some  of the debts in that city. As of now, I haven't received any money which they say is available and  I would like to know if you would collect said money and send me a money order, thanking them  on my part. Also, I would like the person responsible for collecting the merchandise to pay  himself a commission.  Being so far away I feel I am not able to calculate the best approach to all of this so I ask you to  give me your opinion regarding the matter, if you don't think this procedure is the correct one.
