Colon 754  Dear Dad:  This is to inform you that yesterday, one hour after receiving your letter in which you tell me that  Chayo and companions were on their way to this city, I repeat one hour afterwards; they arrived  here at the door of my store. You can just imagine the surprise they gave us. They spent the day  here until 7:00 P.M. when I took them to the train station to continue their journey to San  Francisco where they must have arrived today at 8:00 A.M.  If you had telegraphed instead of notifying me by mail, it would have saved them many worries  because Chayo did not even remember my address, but I now understand how overwhelmed you  must have been with so many things that have happened to our family.  Here everyone is fine and we wish that Pancho will recover soon so you can be more at peace.  Our regards to my mom, brothers and sisters.
